I recently spent a delightful week at the Zanzibar Bay Resort in Uroa, and I must say, it was an amazing stay from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the warm smiles of the staff, setting a welcoming tone for our entire stay. Our journey from the ferry terminal to the resort, facilitated by a private transfer service, was smooth and well-organized, taking only 45 minutes. Throughout our stay, the culinary experience was a highlight. The buffet-style meals offered a variety of options, allowing us to indulge in both international and Tanzanian cuisine. Each day brought new programs and activities for guests to enjoy, including enlightening Maasai dances that provided insight into their rich culture and traditions. In the evenings there were traditional dance performances. Massai too! The resort's beachfront location was simply soothing, perfect relaxation. The all-inclusive package had variety of drinks and cocktails to enjoy. Additionally, the attentive staff made sure to inquire about our comfort during daily housekeeping, even offering mosquito control services in the evenings. For those seeking adventure, the resort provided a range of tourist programs, from snorkeling excursions to island trips and boat rides, with options to suit everyone. What stood out was the staff's friendly and informative approach, never being pushy but always eager to share insights and assist with arrangements. Moreover, the resort boasted amenities such as a gym and spa, adding to the overall experience of relaxation and rejuvenation. The experience at the Zanzibar Bay Resort was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of excellent service, diverse activities, and serene surroundings made for an unforgettable stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a truly memorable getaway and would undoubtedly choose to stay here again!

The hotel is very clean, grounds are kept really well. The staff are super helpful. The beds rooms are also comfortable and well maintained. The food could have been better, very little swahili flavor in the diet, that could improve given how famous ,Zanzinbar is for her spices. They have a lovely facility over the ocean, beautiful setting area and bar. Pools are three, with. Baby pool.also themassages are fantastic. You have to take the tour bus for activities. That was the only down side. Beyond their control, the beach was murky until the last day. Then the water. Are through clear and clean. Lovely to swim in. Overall, excellent holiday facility, easy to relax and spend a few days

The best part is that it didn't turn out to be very expensive, and as Booking.com customers, they upgraded us to the All-Inclusive Plus, which included many more things. In reality, it's two hotels together, this one and the Paradise, so it becomes quite a large resort with several very nice pools. It doesn't have a swim-up bar, but the poolside bars are very good. The food is okay but not spectacular. The cocktails are very good, especially those with pineapple because they prepare the juice on the spot; it takes a little while, but the wait is worth it. We used the spa to get some African braids done and were very satisfied, although we had to haggle a bit to get a fair price.

Great pool options and activities if you want to do them, also a nice retail therapy section. Great friendly staff. Our room was at the pool and had a nice privacy hedge so we could sit on our stoep but still have some privacy. Beaware that on the all inclusive package they make their cocktails super strong (double shots of alcohol in small glasses) I guess at least they arent watered down😅🤣, but they klap you hard on a hot humid day. Its still worth it to go all inclusive just be aware when ordering drinks

The resort is beautiful, clean and well maintained. There are 3 large swimming pools with more than enough deck chairs for everybody. The staff are polite and very friendly. The food was superb - I booked the 'all inclusive' option - this included breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as selected drinks during the day. The executive chef Lotfy and his team are definately a HUGE asset for the hotel - everybody was complimenting the high quality and big variety of food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
